Orquesta Tabasko
Orquesta Tabasko was formed in 2005 by the groups director, arranger and composer, Diego Kohl after an inspiring trip to Cali Colombia where one of his Salsa compositions El Campo’ was promoted and aired on several radio stations in Colombia. Diego was most impressed by the salsa mania he experienced down in Cali. ” It is the most popular style of music down there.” Says Diego,” I would love to see people get as crazy about Latin music here in Canada “.
Diego has been working hard to achieve that goal ever since by performing regularly with Orquesta Tabasko and recording his original Salsa compositions.

Mariachi Tabasko, one of Vancouver’s premier Mariachi bands, goal is to share the traditional music of Mexico with North America and to promote the beauty of Mexico by interpreting its music with great elegance and style.
Our band members deliver the passion and the love they feel for México and its culture when performing every song in their vast repertoire.
We sing many heartfelt Rancheras, romantic Boleros, rhythmic Huapangos, Polkas, Cumbias and all of our favourite Sones.
Mariachi Tabasko performs regularly through-out the lower Mainland and are available for all of your events, festivals and parties.
